Overview
Open the Link Builder from the sidebar (Campaigns → Link Builder). Choose a tab — Smart Link or Deep Link — fill in the fields, switch on the tracking parameters you need, and click Generate Link. Copy the result and drop it into your traffic source.
Smart Links
A Smart Link is a single URL that automatically routes each click to the best-matching offer in a Smart Campaign — based on the visitor's geo, device, and the weights the network configured. You promote one link; the platform picks the destination in real time and falls back gracefully if an offer is capped or unavailable.
Select the Smart Link tab
Only Smart Campaigns that route to offers you're approved on are listed.
Choose a Smart Campaign
Pick it from the dropdown, switch on the tracking parameters you need, and generate.
Great for broad, mixed traffic (multiple countries/devices) where you want the network's optimisation to choose the highest-converting offer for you.
Deep Links
A Deep Link is a normal campaign tracking link with a specific destination attached — so mobile and on-site traffic lands on an exact product or in-app page instead of the generic landing page.
Select the Deep Link tab
Choose one of your approved campaigns.
Enter the destination URL
Paste the exact page you want users to land on, including
https://— for example a specific product page.Generate & copy
The destination is safely encoded and appended to your tracking link.
Custom destinations only work on campaigns where the advertiser has enabled deep linking. For any other campaign the field is hidden and the link uses the campaign's own landing page — everything else on the tab still works.
Tracking Parameters
Both tabs expose the full affiliate parameter set. Each parameter has an on/off switch and a value field pre-filled with {replace_it} — switch on the ones your traffic source can populate and replace the placeholder with that source's own macro (for example {clickid}, [[campaign_id]] or __CLICK_ID__). Switched-off parameters are not added to the link.
- Your click ID —
aff_click_id, passed back on every postback so you can reconcile conversions - Sub-IDs —
sub_aff1–sub_aff10plussource, for segmenting by placement, creative or traffic source in your reports - Device identifiers —
gaid, iosidfa, androidid, deviceid, creativeidfor mobile and app traffic - Ad network click IDs —
fbclid, gclid, dclid, ttclid, msclkid, gbraid, wbraid, so paid traffic can be matched back to the platform that sent it
On the Deep Link tab, switch on Also generate impression URL to get a view-through pixel alongside the click link — use it for banner and display placements. It carries the same parameters as the click link, so view-through and click data line up in your reports. Smart Links are click-only and do not have an impression URL.
Best Practices
- Test one click first — confirm it lands correctly and appears in your Clicks Report before scaling
- Keep destination URLs valid — Deep Link destinations must be full
https://URLs - Use consistent sub-ID conventions — the same labels across campaigns make reporting far easier
- Replace every
{replace_it}placeholder — a parameter left at the placeholder value records literally, which is useless in reports; switch it off instead - Don't hand-edit the generated link's base — changing core parameters breaks attribution
