The Earnings Ledger
The ledger records one entry per attributed conversion event. Each entry stores the gross conversion value, the creator's share, the platform fee, the currency, and the conversion reference from the tracking pipeline. Entries are never deleted — corrections happen through status changes, so the history always adds up.
Earning Lifecycle
| Status | Meaning | Counts toward payout? |
|---|---|---|
| PENDING | Conversion recorded, inside the advertiser's validation window | Not yet |
| CONFIRMED | Conversion validated (waiting period passed or manually approved) | Yes |
| PAID | Included in a completed payout batch | Already paid |
| REVERSED | Clawed back — fraud, duplicate, or advertiser dispute | No |
Conversion attributed → PENDING
The conversion is matched to your approved application and enters the ledger.
Validation passes → CONFIRMED
Once the advertiser's approval flow clears the conversion, the earning is locked in.
Payout batch runs → PAID
Confirmed balances above the minimum payout threshold are disbursed through the payment provider, referenced by a batch ID.
How Amounts Are Calculated
For each conversion the gross revenue is split using the listing's economics:
| Listing setup | Creator receives | Platform fee |
|---|---|---|
| Commission % (e.g. 20%) | Gross × 80% | Gross × 20% |
| Fixed payout override (e.g. $50) | $50 per conversion | Gross − $50 |
Changing a listing's commission later only affects future conversions — existing ledger entries keep the split that applied when they were recorded.
When Earnings Appear
Conversions are reconciled into the ledger automatically on a 15-minute cycle. A conversion you generate now typically appears as a PENDING earning within 15 minutes; status changes (approval, rejection) propagate on the same cycle.
Check three things: (1) your application is APPROVED, (2) the advertiser has linked your affiliate account — earnings only accrue after the mapping exists, and (3) at least one sync cycle has passed. Still missing? Contact support with the conversion time and offer name.
Reversals
A PENDING or CONFIRMED earning can be reversed when the underlying conversion is rejected, blocked, flagged as fraud, or cancelled. The entry stays in the ledger with its reversal reason — your balance decreases, but the audit trail remains intact. PAID earnings are never silently reversed; disputes on paid amounts are settled against future payouts.
Getting Paid
- Verification first — payouts require a VERIFIED KYC status (see the creator guide)
- Minimum threshold — your confirmed balance must reach the minimum payout amount before it's included in a batch
- External provider — money movement runs through a regulated payment provider; each payout carries a batch reference you can quote to support
- Multi-currency — earnings are tracked per currency; balances are reported separately per currency in your earnings summary
