Website Analytics

See who visits your websites, where they come from, which pages they read and how many convert, alongside your affiliate data and without a separate analytics tool.

What It Is

Website Analytics is built-in, Google Analytics–style reporting for your own websites and landing pages. Add a small snippet to your site and AffClix records page views, sessions, traffic sources, devices, countries, page speed and purchases.

Find it under Website Analytics in the main menu: Overview for the reports and Tracked Sites to manage your websites.

Adding Your Websites

  1. Open Website Analytics → Tracked Sites.
  2. Under Add a website, enter the address, for example shop.example.com, and optionally a name.
  3. Optionally link the website to a campaign, so its conversions can be tied to that offer.

The address with and without "www." counts as the same website. Your plan includes a number of websites for free. The page shows how many are included and how many you are using, and any extra websites are billed per site.

Installing the Snippet

  1. From the dashboard, open Setup & install.
  2. Choose the website, then click Copy snippet.
  3. Paste it into every page of your site, just before the closing </head> tag. On most website builders there is a "header code" setting for this.
  4. Visit your site, then return to the setup page. The Verify it's working step checks for events and shows the website as reporting.
Tracking purchases

Page views are recorded automatically. To record a sale, call AffclixAnalytics.trackPurchase() on your order confirmation page. The setup page shows an example.

The Dashboard

Pick a date range, and a single website or All sites. The Overview shows:
