Fraud Logs

See how much of your traffic the fraud engine flagged, which signals fired, and which affiliates are sending it, so you can decide who to talk to, pause or reject.

What This Report Shows

Open Reports → Fraud Logs. The report answers three questions at a glance:

  • How much of my traffic is invalid, and is that getting better or worse?
  • Which fraud signals are firing most often?
  • Which affiliates are responsible for it?
Plan feature

Fraud Logs are available on plans that include Fraud Detection. To choose which checks run, see Fraud Protection.

Clicks, Impressions, Conversions

Switch between three tabs at the top. Each one looks at a different kind of event, so they don't all offer the same filters.

TabHeadline numberNotes
ClicksInvalid Click RateThe richest tab: country, device, proxy and data-centre checks are all available.
ImpressionsInvalid Impression RateHas country and device, but impressions have no approval status.
ConversionsFlagged conversionsA conversion is a server-to-server message, so there is no visitor country or device to filter on. Filters that don't apply are named on screen instead of being silently ignored.

Risk Score

Every event gets a score from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the more fraud signals it matched.

ScoreRisk level
Below 20Not flagged
20 – 39Low
40 – 74Medium
75 and aboveHigh

Use Score Min and Score Max in the filters to focus on one band, for example only high-risk traffic.

Reading the Page

Rate by day. The share of each day's traffic that was flagged. Hover a column to see the counts behind it. A sudden spike usually points to one new traffic source.
Risk mix. How the flagged traffic splits between low, medium and high risk.
Signals that fired. The fraud checks that matched, most frequent first, and how many affiliates are sending each one.
Event table. Click any row to open the full detail: every signal that fired, the score, and whether the payout was stopped.

Filters and Export

Narrow the report by date range, campaign, affiliate, advertiser, country code, status, fraud signal and score range. Campaign, affiliate, advertiser and country filters change both the flagged count and the total it is compared against, so the rate stays meaningful.

Click Export CSV to download the filtered events, for example to share with an affiliate or advertiser.

Acting on What You Find

What you seeWhat to do
One affiliate drives most high-risk trafficTalk to them about the source, then pause or block them on the affected campaigns.
Proxy or data-centre signals dominateTurn on blocking for that check on the campaign rather than only flagging it.
Flagged conversions are still pendingReview and reject them in the Conversions report before you invoice or pay out.
