Flipkart Affiliate Integration

Track the Flipkart sales your partners drive: AffClix pulls your Flipkart Affiliate order report every hour, credits each order to the partner who sent the shopper, and reverses the commission when an order is cancelled or returned.

Overview

Flipkart does not send webhooks, so AffClix works the other way round: it pulls your orders from the Flipkart Affiliate API every hour. Each outbound link to Flipkart carries your Flipkart Tracking ID (affid) and the AffClix click ID in one of Flipkart’s pass-through parameters (affExtParam1 or affExtParam2). Flipkart returns that click ID with every order, which is how the order is matched to the partner and campaign.

Orders then flow through the same pipeline as any other store: attribution, deduplication, your order filters, commission and postbacks to partners.

Why this integration matters

  • Pay partners on real Flipkart sales — commission is calculated from the order value Flipkart reports.
  • Cancellations handled for you — a cancelled or returned order reverses the commission automatically.
  • No webhooks to set up — a Tracking ID and an API token are all Flipkart needs.
  • Multi-item orders counted once — Flipkart reports each item separately; AffClix groups them into one order so it is commissioned once.
  • Status changes caught — every sync re-reads the last seven days, so an order that moves from tentative to approved or cancelled is updated.
  • Product feed included — Sync Products imports Flipkart’s catalogue so partners can build deep links.

Prerequisites

  • An AffClix plan that includes E-commerce — the Integrations → E-commerce menu.
  • An approved Flipkart Affiliate account, with API access.
  • Your Flipkart Tracking ID and API token (Step 1).
  • An advertiser in AffClix to own the store — they see its orders and commission in their own portal.
  • A campaign whose landing URL points at Flipkart and carries the click ID (Step 3).

Step 1: Get your Tracking ID and API token from Flipkart

01

Sign in to Flipkart Affiliate

Sign in to the Flipkart Affiliate dashboard with the account that earns the commission.

02

Copy the Tracking ID

Your Tracking ID is shown in the dashboard. It is also the affid value on your Flipkart links.

03

Generate an API token

Open the API section and generate (or copy) your token. Keep it private — it gives read access to your order reports.

Step 2: Add the Flipkart integration in AffClix

01

Open E-commerce integrations

Go to Integrations → E-commerce, open the Integrations tab and click Add Integration.

02

Choose Flipkart

Pick the Flipkart tile. Flipkart is pull-only, so there is no webhook card to fill in.

The Add Integration form with platform tiles for Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Flipkart and Amazon Associates.
Pick the platform; marketplaces sit beside the webhook-based stores.
03

Name the store and choose its owner

Enter an Integration Name such as Flipkart – India, and choose the advertiser under Store Owner.

04

Enter the credentials

Paste the Tracking ID and API Token. Under Click ID Parameter, choose which pass-through parameter carries the AffClix click ID — affExtParam1 by default. The other one is read as sub ID 1.

The Flipkart credentials card with Tracking ID, API Token and Click ID Parameter fields.
Flipkart needs only a Tracking ID, an API token and the click-ID parameter.
05

Review the order rules and save

Check the attribution window, currency and order filters, then click Create Integration. On the store’s edit page, Test Connection calls the Flipkart API to confirm the credentials.

Step 3: Send partner traffic with the click ID

Attribution depends on every Flipkart link carrying both your Tracking ID and the AffClix click ID. Set this once in the campaign’s landing URL; partners’ tracking links then add it automatically.

01

Set the campaign landing URL

Use the Flipkart page as the landing URL and add affid=YOUR_TRACKING_ID&affExtParam1={click_id}, for example https://www.flipkart.com/…?affid=yourid&affExtParam1={click_id}. If you chose affExtParam2 in Step 2, use that instead.

02

Test a link

Open one partner’s tracking link and check that the Flipkart URL you land on shows a real click ID in place of {click_id}.

Links without the click ID are not attributed

Flipkart only returns what was on the link. An order from a link without the click ID cannot be matched to a partner.

Step 4: Sync orders and check the result

01

Wait for the hourly sync, or run one now

Orders are pulled every hour. To pull straight away, open the store and click Sync Orders.

02

Check the orders

Open the E-commerce Orders tab. Each Flipkart order appears once, with its value, status and the partner it was credited to.

03

Approve or let the hold run

With Paid orders only on (the default), tentative orders wait until Flipkart approves them. Commission then follows your approval settings.

Real-life example

A deals publisher promotes Flipkart’s electronics sale through AffClix. The brand behind the campaign pays partners 4% of each approved order.

  1. A shopper clicks a partner’s link and lands on Flipkart with affid=dealsco&affExtParam1= followed by the AffClix click ID.
  2. The shopper orders headphones and a case in one checkout, for ₹6,200. Flipkart reports two items with the same order ID; AffClix groups them into one ₹6,200 order.
  3. The order is tentative at first, so it waits. When Flipkart approves it, the next sync records a sale and a ₹248 commission for the partner.
  4. A week later the shopper returns the headphones and Flipkart marks the order cancelled. The next sync reverses the commission.

Result: the partner is paid on the sale Flipkart confirmed, and the commission disappears when the sale does — without anyone editing a spreadsheet.

Managing and monitoring the integration

  • Last sync — the store page shows when orders were last pulled, and Flipkart’s error message if the last pull failed.
  • Sync Orders — pull now instead of waiting for the hourly run; it re-reads the same seven-day window.
  • Test Connection — asks Flipkart to confirm the Tracking ID and token still work.
  • Sync Products — imports Flipkart’s catalogue into your product feed.
  • Pause — switching the integration to inactive stops syncing without losing its settings or orders.

How Flipkart order statuses are handled

Flipkart reports one status per order. AffClix turns each into an order event:

Flipkart statusWhat AffClix does
tentativeRecords the order as pending. With Paid orders only on, no commission yet.
approvedRecords the order as paid and creates the commission.
cancelled / returnedRecords a refund and reverses any commission already created.

Troubleshooting

SymptomLikely causeWhat to do
Test Connection failsThe Tracking ID or API token is wrong, or the token was regenerated.Copy both again from Flipkart Affiliate and save.
Orders arrive without a partnerThe link did not carry the click ID, or the wrong Click ID Parameter is selected.Check the campaign landing URL (Step 3) and that the parameter matches the one on your links.
An order appears but earns nothingIt is still tentative and Paid orders only is on.Wait for Flipkart to approve it; the next sync creates the commission.
An old status change was missedThe change happened more than seven days after the order.Run Sync Orders; ask support to widen the lookback for a one-off backfill.

Conclusion

With Flipkart connected, marketplace sales are tracked like any other store: every order that carries an AffClix click ID is credited to the right partner within the hour, and cancellations reverse the commission automatically.

Note

Flipkart only reports orders from links that carried your Tracking ID. Make sure every campaign pointing at Flipkart uses the landing URL from Step 3.
