What Groups Are For
Open Affiliates → Affiliate Groups. Groups are internal: affiliates never see which groups they are in. Typical groups are "Tier 1 media buyers", "Email partners" or "Managed by Priya".
An affiliate can be in several groups.
Creating a Group
Click New Group
Enter a name, an optional description of who belongs there, and a colour.
Save group
The group appears in the list. Open it to add members.
Adding Members
- From the group — click Add affiliates, search, and click Add to group.
- From the affiliate list — select affiliates, open the bulk actions and add them to one or more groups. The list also has a Group column and filter.
Giving a Group Campaign Access
Open the campaign, go to its Affiliates tab and use the Group access card to attach a group. From then on the grant is standing:
- Every active member is approved on the campaign straight away — including members you had rejected on it before.
- Members added to the group later are approved automatically.
- Pending members are approved when their account becomes active.
Approved affiliates get the usual campaign access e-mail. The group page lists every campaign the group can run under Campaign access.
Only attaching the group overrides an earlier rejection. When a member joins later or becomes active, a rejection you set on that campaign stays in place.
Removing Access
- Removing a member, or deleting a group — does not take away campaign access members already have.
- Detaching a group from a campaign — you are asked what to do. The default keeps everyone approved. The other choice rejects only affiliates who got access through this group and are not covered by another group that still has access. Affiliates you approved yourself are never touched.
Groups in Reports
The Report Builder and the Daily Report have an Affiliate Group filter. Each group also has an Open in Report Builder link.
