Overview
CRM destinations are a kind of outbound webhook. Open Tools → Webhooks and click Add webhook, or open the HubSpot, Salesforce or Zapier card under Tools → Integrations. Under Destination pick the service.
| Destination | Affiliates become | Conversions become |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | Contacts, matched by e-mail | One deal each |
| Salesforce | Leads, matched by e-mail | One opportunity each |
| Zapier / Make | The raw event, which your Zap or scenario maps to any app | |
HubSpot
Create a private app in HubSpot
Go to Settings → Integrations → Private Apps → Create a private app.
Give it the scopes
On Scopes, tick crm.objects.contacts (read and write) and crm.objects.deals (read and write).
Paste the access token
Create the app, copy its access token into AffClix and choose your events. AffClix checks the token before saving.
Contacts are matched by e-mail, and blank fields never overwrite values already in HubSpot. Each conversion creates one deal, which moves stage when the conversion is approved or rejected.
Salesforce
Create a connected app
In Salesforce Setup open App Manager → New Connected App (or External Client App).
Enable OAuth with client credentials
Add the "Manage user data via APIs (api)" scope and tick "Enable Client Credentials Flow". Under Manage → Edit Policies, set a "Run As" user who can create Leads and Opportunities.
Paste the keys
Copy the consumer key and secret into AffClix, with your My Domain URL from Setup → My Domain (it ends in salesforce.com or force.com).
Affiliates are matched to leads by e-mail. Each conversion creates one opportunity whose stage follows the conversion status.
Stages & Mapping
The defaults fit a standard setup. To use your own pipeline, open Stages & mapping on the destination and set the stage while pending, when approved and when rejected, and an optional lead source.
- HubSpot — use the internal stage IDs and the deal pipeline ID from Settings → Objects → Deals → Pipelines. Leave them empty for the default pipeline.
- Salesforce — use the exact values from your Opportunity Stage picklist. Lead source must be one of your Lead Source values, or empty.
Zapier and Make
- Zapier — create a Zap with the trigger "Webhooks by Zapier" and the event "Catch Hook". Copy the webhook URL into AffClix, then send a test event so Zapier can see the fields.
- Make — add a "Webhooks → Custom webhook" module, click Add and copy the address into AffClix. Click "Redetermine data structure" in Make, then send a test event.
Both receive the same signed JSON as any webhook — see Message Format.
Good to Know
- For HubSpot and Salesforce, Send test only checks the connection and permissions. Nothing is written to your CRM.
- Cap alerts cannot be sent to HubSpot or Salesforce. Use a webhook, Zapier or Make for them.
- Credentials are stored encrypted and are never shown again. Leave the field empty when editing to keep the saved value.
- Failed CRM deliveries are retried and logged exactly like webhooks.
